GSA Town Hall - A conversation on race, hope, and healing

The recent death of George Floyd and the nationwide protests still highlight key issues of race in our country. The Graduate School and the GSA, being comprised of community members from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, are hurting right now, and many of us are not sure what to do. One thing we can do is turn to each other for support and to uplift. With this in mind, we invite you to attend a virtual GSA Town Hall - A conversation on race, hope and healing on Thursday, June 4, at 3 p.m. to discuss issues of diversity in the context of the current fight for justice. This will be an opportunity for voices to be heard and to strengthen our community.

The town hall will include a panel of students of different backgrounds, along with GSBS Associate Dean of Diversity, Career Development, Alumni Affairs Cherilynn R. Shadding, PhD, serving as a panel moderator. The panel will conclude with an open discussion that will include a Q&A for panelists
